Numbers, letters and days of the week were of different colors, and I was under the impression that spoons and forks are cold because they lie on their iron backs
As a child I had always felt things that, as it turned out, others did not feel. For example, when I was 4-5 years old, I believed that the numbers 6, 7 and 8, unlike the others, have consciousness, each of them was a character in its own story and had its own color. 6 blue, 7 pink and 8 purple. I had a feeling that other objects can also have consciousness and experience emotions. That some objects are bad and some are good. Numbers, letters and days of the week were of different colors, and I was under the impression that spoons and forks are cold because they lie on their iron backs.
My ability to imagine gave me the opportunity to hear the sounds of the objects, but it wasnt the actual sounds that the object creates, but the sound that for me is the object. It was this ability that used to create this work. Each installation item has its own unique sound or melody created not based on how the item sounds, but based on how I “hear” it.
The idea is to show the viewer a sensual synthesis between contact and sound. The viewer has the opportunity to look at even the most ordinary objects like a spoon, a penny or a key from a different perspective and take advantage of the installation’s ability to develop sensory sensuality.
