Mainkamon – are a kind of return to childhood. They depict characters created by the artist when he was 8-10 years old, who became characters in animations and vlogs on the TikTok platform on the MainkaTV channel.

Robert Mainka is a Polish painter and photographer. Graduate of the Film School in Łódź. He runs a popular channel on TikTok – MainkaTV. Creator of Mainkamon. Robert Mainka was already creating Mainkamon when he was a few years old. There is even a whole encyclopaedia of them. He began with photography. His early photographic works used motifs drawn from inner experiences such as sudden visions, images from meditation and dreams. The initial record of motifs to be photographed was drawing, which over the years developed a passion for painting. He is the winner of the prestigious reGeneration3 competition, organised by the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne (Switzerland). He has exhibited at, among others: CCA Ujazdowski Castle (Warsaw), MWW (Wrocław), MOCAK (Krakow), Galeria Wschodnia (Łódź), Fotofestival (Łódź).
